BA Degree Shows
BA Degree Show 2009
(Show will involve use of strobe lighting)
Our Degree Shows aim to celebrate students' success as well as showcasing their work for the future.
This year's Show will run from Saturday 20 - Friday 26 June.
Opening Hours:
Sat & Sun 11am - 4pm
Mon to Fri 10am - 8pm.
The show will include work from all our programmes:
- BA (Hons) Fine Art - Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, New Media
- BA (Hons) Graphic Arts - Advertising Design, Graphic Design, Illustration & Digital Animation, Photography & Digital Media
- BA (Hons) Textiles, Fashion & Fibre - Fashion Design, Textile Art, Textile Design (knit, print & weave)
Fashion students hold a catwalk show in the city centre and each year the event attracts hundreds of visitors. Please contact askwsa@soton.ac.uk if you are a local school or college and would like tickets for the catwalk event.
Participating in the Degree Show experience not only gives students the opportunity to promote their work in their own way, but to develop the organisational, practical and teamworking skills necessary for future success. Click here to see some images of degree show preparation.
With support from level 1 and 2 students, who are already looking to learn techniques for their own shows, MA students and experienced staff, the end result is a unique display of interdisciplinary work, reflecting individual creativity, a three-year learning process and the Winchester School of Art experience.
